Moss · Boot errors
Conflicting variants
verifyApp reports an error that ends with one variant per action per principal when a role combination is granted two variants of the same action, because a principal is drawn one layout per action. Each role’s grant is valid alone, and the error names the combination. Example: usher and member are each granted a variant of programme, and Linus has both roles.
{
usher: ['programme.tonight'],
member: ['programme.season'],
}{
'programme.tonight': {
action: 'programme',
layout: { component: 'Text', children: 'tonight only' },
},
'programme.season': {
action: 'programme',
layout: { component: 'Text', children: 'the whole season' },
},
}['usher', 'member']
variants: the combination [usher, member] holds 2 variants of "programme" (programme.season, programme.tonight) — one variant per action per principal
